No matter how you feel,get up,dress up and show up

-I hate being sick!!! especially when the weather is hot.

Continually changes in weather in these days made me sick. I'm stuck at home even though i have a lot to do.Anyway i know that i've been neglecting my blog since school started but, from now on, i promise that i wil try to do my best :)

My biggest problem , which is called like ''school '' has started recently.That's why i couldn't find any time to post  in these days.Anyway today i have nothing to do after school so i came back home and had some rest , as soon as i felt better i took my laptop and started to read some blogs as usual.

Sunday Sunday Sweet SUNDAY!

Goodmorning everyone,

Today is the last day of my lovely holiday,thats why i'm a bit depressive but at the same time i feel tranquil right now cuz i have nothing to do today.. I missed the feeling that you don't have to do anything so you can sit and think about what you can do in a peaceful way :) 

In the past, sundays has always been under the title of ''sunday syndrome'' for me,  but now, i mean this year, i think sundays are going to be my favourite day of the week  because its the only day in which i can do whatever i want :)

Anyway right now i'm drinking Turkish coffee ,which is a sunday classic for me and mom,and suddenly i felt anxious cuz i remembered some materials that i should have bought for school. For your information, i didn't buy anything yet , not even the books and the school starts tomorrow :DSo i should stop being  lazy, but you all know that laziness is the effect of sundays',and i have to go shopping immediately.

Fashions Night Out Istanbul

Yesterday night , i went to the Fashions Night Out event with some of my friends. It took place in three different locations in Istanbul.I prefered to go to the one in Istinye Park which is my favourite shopping mall.Everything was great,fashionable and elegant.In Istinye Park  there was Broken Hearts performance and we enjoyed the night with a great music :) Excuse me for not writing more about last night,it's because  i'm not feeling good right now, i think i need some rest.Good evening all you , x

    I'm sure that everyone who has even a little bit interest in fashion,once in a lifetime heard about Isabella Blow.She was mostly known for her interesting hats.She had discovered a lot of famous fashion designers and models. Alexander Mcqueen was both one of those designers  discovered by her and also a very good friend of her.
   Anyway this morning while i was organizing my wardrobe i found an old weird hat, which had reminded me of Isabella Blow and i wanted to write something in the memory of her.Hope you all having a nice day,x

Last night one of my friends(who is the owner of those photographs which we took as a styling for my portfolio) came to my place for a sleepover.Ofcourse we slept too late but as usual It was me who woke up first.As I know my friend is the most sleepyhead person in the world I found myself looking for something to do for this lovely morning.Then I got into the kitchen, prepared my coffee and took my laptop with me to the balcony.It won't be a big surprise , I know, If I tell you the rest of the story..And soon I found myself stuck in the site of "Dazed and Confused" one of favourite magazines at all time.This time I was so impressed by a 22-year-old Antwerp student of Walter van Beirendonck, Mariel Manuel, that I couldn't wait to share it with you.It's obvious that she has a great sense of style and in my opinion she uses print making in such way that it also gives us some clues about her personal life.For example the texture of animals that she uses is because of a visit to Africa which she did as a child.If you want you can read the whole interview-that I strongly advice you to read- at ttp://www.dazeddigital.com/fashion/gallery/12/8206/0/the-joy-of-six-mariel-manuel

I don't know which pair of words will be successfull when it comes to define him and his photography..He is SO TİM WALKER! He is my favourite photographer at all time and I adore all of his works. I mean , really, there is no exception.I love how he creates a fairy world with use of fashion.Here is an interview of him which he is talking about himself , and how he creats all these amazing stuff.

Dice Kayek

Today, I went to the Dice Kayek exhibition in Istanbul Modern Museum.It was short but great.The exhibition shows the modern face of the history of Istanbul and the cultural values created by the contrasts in the city with 26 different designs. Each piece of cloth and every material represents a different face of Istanbul.Anyway i just want to add that if you have a chance to visit Istanbul ın one of these days, don't miss the exhibiton.For your information , in the same building there is also a Hussein Chalayan exhibiton and thats also very good .Here are some photos from the Dice Kayek exhibiton,( i found these photos from the web because photographing was not allowed in the museum.)
